Use this to learn Maj/min scales. Try using Maj/min Pentatonics.

12-bar #1 A/A/A/A7/D/D/A/A/E/E/A/A basic-a-12-bar
Here’s a basic 12-bar Blues in the key of A, the chord progression is A/A/A/A7/D/D7/A/A7/E7/D7/A/E7
The jazzy sounding chords I’m using are D9th and E9th(substitute for D7 and E7) The D9 is (str/fr) 5/5, 4/4, 3/5, 2/5, and 1/5. The E9 is 5/7,4/6, 3/7, 2/7 and 1/7. You can play them as a triad on the top 3 strings or 2,3and 4rth strings.
I play lead the first 2 times through so be patient
a slower version
this one is on a minor key
Note the chord pattern, loses the 4chord(D) on the turnaround: Am/Am/Am/Am/Dm/Dm/Am/Am/Em/Em/Am/Em
Heres an accoustic Rockabilly in A and a faster one in E
This is a good one to practice Rockabilly leads to. This is a standard jazz/Doo Wop progression. It’s 1-6-2-5 (A, F#m, Bm, E)a-1-6-2-5
Here’s a Bo Diddley Beat in E. Kermit Von Munster on Drum and Bass by meK & G Jam tr #1
A slow 12-bar in the key of C
Check back, I’ll be adding some new tracks soon. Stay Tuned

Thanx glad to get some feedback. I’ll be posting some video lessons as soon as possible. Good luck with the band.I just played a few gigs with a guy in his mid-forties, he’s only been playing for 3 years, and he’s been gigging for most of that. If you have a good sense of rhythm and pitch, you can learn very quickly. Cheers

Hey, no response needed- just wanted to say that aside from the avian experiences with Corvus caurinus I’ve gotten some cool stuff from you. So, thanks. JB

I just found the site. Thank you soooo much. I have been playing a couple of years now, but found rockabilly to be my love. I am progressing in my playing, but it is slow in coming. I want to thank you for the videos of the REV. I love him….keep up the good work
